At UNC, it is our mission to keep higher education both accessible and affordable
to students who are Colorado residents with the greatest financial need. To better
support students and keep a college degree well within reach, we launched a new initiative
called the UNC Tuition Promise for fall 2024.
This program covers standard tuition and mandatory fees for all eligible undergraduate students, both current/continuing students as well
as new, full-time students throughout their undergraduate education at UNC. That is
our promise to you.
Are you eligible?
To qualify, you just need to be a current or future UNC student and meet the criteria to save money:

Colorado Residents or eligible ASSET undergraduates working towards a first Bachelor's degree

Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) by June 1, 2024, or sooner

Household Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) at or below $65,000 or a Student Aid Index (SAI) of 3,000 or less

UNC students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Undergraduate UNC students must be enrolled in 12+ course credits
Next Steps
- Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) by June 1, 2024
- Complete and authorize your College Opportunity Fund Application (COF) either for lifetime or each semester.
